The last few friends I had criticized everything I did to the point of bullying(I do art/animation), blasted and yelled at me when I eventually got depressed from it, then just drifted away slowly until I would go months without talking to another person.

I honestly don't know how to make friends anymore or who is even considered a friend.

Honestly feels weird with art, that if you want to have a successful social media account, 90% of the time, you pretty much have to draw stuff other people created and that are popular instead of your own. (Other 10% is just being really really good). I know the reason why, people like what that know and what is popular, but just feels weird to me.

Like I enjoy drawing original characters I made myself from my own stories, but they pretty much go nowhere cause people want to see what they're familiar with.

Pretty much always expected me to get straight As on my report card, even though I was at most a B average student. I remember one time being very proud cause I got all high B's, show my father, who then beat the shit out of me, and ground me, for not getting all A's, something I had never done beforehand.

During university , parents divorced, so it was just my mother and her abusive boyfriend around. My mother forced me into taking an advanced learning math science and technology program that was incredibly difficult, and forced you to take 6 courses a semester instead of 4. Always yelling at me about my low grades. One time even took my textbook from me and whipped it at my face for not being smart enough. Back cover tore off, and I panicked cause I would have to pay for the damages.

However, I also wasn't able to do homework at home and never received any help. Would just yell all day and night, never allowing a single moment of peace so I could sit down and study. One time she even got mad at me for some weird unrelated reason, came into my room, took my desk chair, and claimed that it was her chair and I had no rights to use it anymore. So I wasn't able to do homework unless I did it standing or lying on the floor. So instead I just played video games to block out the world.

Funny enough, I moved out for a year in grade 12, and for the first time in my life I had quiet, was able to study, actually enjoyed studying, and my marks actually did skyrocket to straight A's. This continued through university, getting high marks.

I remember feeling proud of myself for what I was able to accomplish. While moving back home once school was done, in the car ride back, my mother turns to me, no congratulations, no words of wisdom, just told me, "don't think you're smart just cause you graduated school. You're not smart."

I manage to finally achieve those good grades I was always punished for not having all my life, and when I finally got them, she still looked down on me. I don't know what she wanted from me.

Furthermore, she hit me and yelled at me the day before my graduation, so then next day when she was ready to leave, I just refused to go. I didn't want to be trapped with her in a car for a 3 hour ride. I skipped my own graduation cause I was scared of being stuck with her, and having her be around my classmates.

Always annoying when that happened. You have a coupon and show it to them, and they just refuse to accept it.

Think I had that happen a few times with the whole look up the cap, win a free soda deal.

honestly, I'd prob never sell my games unless I was on the point of starvation. Most likely I would love to give them away to someone younger who would appreciate and have fun with them.
