Former Officer here, this is correct. There is also the mentality of “once guilty, always guilty”. If Soldiers screw up even once a lot of leadership writes them off permanently.

I’d argue that helping Ukraine defend itself isn’t exactly “meddling” more than “helping a democracy defend itself from naked aggression”.

And since most of the civilized world is helping Ukraine, I’d say we’re in the right on this one.

In what universe is an upgraded T-72 (which is the best the Russians can field) considered a “modern tank”? Never mind the fact that the “best” Russian tanks are already turretless burned out husks at this point.

Though, looking back on it, the scene where he’s in the alien spaceship was pretty well done.

There was one episode where Scully and Mulder were investigating this family of inbred hillbillies. The hillbillies break into the sheriffs house and beat him to death while his wife watches from under the bed, that shit it still rattling around in my brain.
