Just nuke everyone and start over on the moon
It is a good defensive position in itself and it is a shame that parts of it were lost (for example the salt mines are valuable for stockpiling ammo and organizing defense) but the Russian army has the high ground over the positions they took so it was hard to hold. UAF fell back behind rail embankments and established strong defenses there. The Russian army is pushing them still, but towards a quite large spot of mountainous terrain, which is hard to explain because it would put them at a disadvantage ? Soledar is one of the few hundreds localities Russia needs to take if they want control over donetsk, and probably one of the only places along bakhmut where they can afford sustained offensive action right now apparently. Capturing the railroad there wouldn't do much more since it's already interdicted due to frontline proximity

I am definitely on Ukraine's side on this, I hated Russia's bullshit for years before that, and could not in a thousand years find anything positive to say about that dumpster fire of a country, but I do feel that being a Russian conscript definitely is a shitty situation. I believe having at least some empathy is what protected us from turning into piece of shit Russia
You're supposed to do that on the sources you use. Doing it for sources of randos of reddit is completely pointless. Unless, of course, you're trying to find any bullshit reason to not do that

I mean next to stories about Russia anything said about Ukraine would seem good. A firm and uncompromising stance against Russia is the only rational one here, anything short of that is the result of false equivalence and whataboutism, which are, along as heavy handed attempts at sowing confusion among the public's opinion, the main propaganda tactics used by pro Russian lost souls, which is why anything even remotely negative about Ukraine posted here gets compulsively down voted, since how are we supposed to tell the difference between a genuine question and an insidious attempt at bluring the line to try and manufacture apathy and neutrality ? Also I'll add that I routinely see people ask for sources for pro Ukraine informations, albeit they often give out a "virtue signaling" vibe.
What I do is look up old claims from a news outlet or a specific source about the war and crosscheck them with what we now know was true. This way I can get an idea of how trustworthy a specific source of information is, on average. That's the most effective way I found to quickly gage how credible a claim is
Too afraid to lose your life rising up against your government ? Good, go lose your life fighting our neighbor's government then !
Yeah, it plays into readers' anxieties to generate more clicks. Also if it turns out that that explosion was the result of an attack, they can pretend they get better information than other sources. Personally I'd very much like it if news articles read like research papers, it would be less exhausting to read, weirdly. Because right now sifting through tons of loaded bullshit just to get to a single piece of vague information doesn't really motivate me to keep in touch with the real world.
They were never able to make anything useful out of Russia. Qol is shit, their mighty army with tons of cutting edge, next level weaponry, is also shit, its saving grace being numbers and stockpiles from an era whith a slightly competent government; public health is shit, education levels are shit, their economy is shit and one of the only things they managed to export for yacht money is going out of fashion. Their industry is decades behind, their arms exports just took the worst publicity possible, their one aircraft carrier is constantly broken down in a port that is soon to be in arm's reach of yet another nato country meanwhile their black sea fleet is essentially stuck in places and unable to do anything. Their relevant weapons stockpiles are going down, they can't produce spare parts for most of the technology they use, they can't maintain civil aviation, and have to beg China and Iran to keep their head above the water. They lost tens of thousands young men to the war, hundreds of thousands to injury, and hundreds of thousands more who straight up left the country because of the mobilization. Their leader is either a 560 IQ 16D chess genius we don't understand or another old, crazy fuck stuck in a loop of implementing ad-hoc short sighted band-aid solutions for problems he isn't competent in solving, which in turn cause more problems, all the while being supported by crass idiots. I love to shit on Russia and could go on forever, but the point I want to make is that if we aren't able to handle that shit a enemy and they manage to go on with their crap for decades more, well we'd have to ask ourselves questions

After having ingested way too much information over the years about China, their government and economy as well as how they manage and discipline their population, I instinctively don't see it as a country that is poised to enjoy long term stability in any shape or form, for some reason. Honestly the whole thing looks like a slightly more competent version of Russia ? Overly simplified I know but we're not here to learn things are we ?

Even if they had no problem they'd convince themselves they have. If they had no enemy left they'd invent new ones. After a while they'll set up lotteries do determine who or what to hate next. When there's only a few on them remaining they'll simply blame young people for it, and set up barbecues together every week end, happy they finally built themselves that safe space they always dreamt of where they can gleefully keep pretending they understand shit about the world. Then the few not taken by tragic firearm handling accidents will take each other's hand, lovingly embrace the emptiness in each other's eyes, and make mankind's last jump into a beautiful final spiral of incest and glory. And thus closes the book of humanity - Finally

Thanks ! I have good results with a zealot deck as well ! Currently Trapper HQ Zealot cauldron and priestess with sisters in faith, and it's able to give me a boost of damage in later waves which seems to work nicely so far. Considering replacing HQ or Trapper with dryad for better board control, but I fear it would'nt work without trapper's dmg boost
"What do you mean there's 20 minutes of latency for every task you do ? Make some effort, this is a hardcore company for people with work values !"

Thank you ! I'll need to level up reaper then I guess ! So sister in faith isn't really effective then ? I tended to think power of light would need frequent merging to work, which would make it harder to maintain a board, and that 400% for 6s seconds doesn't really justify it. Also trapper is useless then ?

More like "I will use any arbitrary bullshit excuse I can find to single out groups of people and pretend they don't have virtue or values, which is just a roundabout way to implicitly pretend I'm naturally superior to everyone else without having to think about it because intellectual shit is just a liberal ploy to have us eat babies. Obviously black people are criminals, how else would I be able to believe in my own excellence while not doing any work on myself if they weren't ? How would I escape the insecurity ? The insecurity is killing me, Mom, please tell me Dad had a good reason to hit me like he did mom the kids at school tell me there is no God why am I here mom just to suffer ? You told me I was perfect and everyone else was stupid and there's gay people around thank God I'm not gay mom I'm a real man those people put penises in their mouths can you imagine that mom ?" Or something about how people kill people and guns aren't a relevant part of any issue at all
I'm on ritalin 40, so methylphenidate, and yeah, I usually forget to take it in the morning. After noon is too late because of insomnia, so I frequently go without it. Never experienced withdrawal, only ADD symptoms coming back
Give it time, if they take long to tell you it probably means they take it seriously. My doc who originally misdiagnosed me apologized a lot about it. I think they're afraid of getting it wrong (well that's what I deduced from my docs behavior anyway)
I know it is stressful. But you have help, most of people who've been in our shoes throughout history didn't have that chance. And the experience they get from helping you will only help healing others better in the future.
I'm no longer diagnosed with it (misdiagnosis) but experienced similar symptoms. I stayed here because I liked the vibe, but I'm always wondering if I should still post here
