I agree. Five people don't just wake up one morning and decide "Hey, let's murder someone."

And Guilliman does a rendition of "Modern Major General" fitting the 40k universe.

Every episode ends with a cut to a sleeping Necron in their tomb. The show runs for ten seasons and they never do anything with it.

Props to the guy in the McFly vest. Rushed right over and keeps going even when he saw fire underneath.

It also used to refer to actual scripture. "Spare teaching the gospel and you'll have a spoiled child." But hey, why should actual thinking get in the way of child abuse.

Same reason anyone complains about change, it isn't the comfortable oldness they enjoyed.

French Revolution. Had some good ideas but quickly devolved into a reign of terror that killed hundreds of almost certainly innocent people.

You're Next (2011). I'm a sucker for a reverse slasher film and it was just a wonderful time.

At some point when the Jedi wiped out the Sith pre Rule of 2, they would have had to have dealt with Sith children.

Hopper picked up that bike and made pretty darn near perfect decisions for the rest of that season. He made it for it in the 3rd season though.

Sweet Mary and Joseph, yes. But it will also never actually pass into law. I'd love it but you can't expect the fox to build the fence around the hen house.

And technically at the exact same moment he's cheating on his former love with her. Yeah, from some perspectives living in all times makes a few problems.

Some kind of Halls of Reflection where Ranni let's you fight them at their prime like she did with her mother would actually be pretty interesting. We'd get stomped, but it would be cool.

There are tons of 'good guys' in 40k. They're just canceled out by bureaucratic inertia and TONS of bad guys. The true grimness of the setting isn't that good people don't exist in most of the factions, it's that what they do doesn't change anything in the setting.

This is more to give people access to books their are being denied because of local government decisions. Hence the specific waiving of the need for them to live in New York.

This is the NYC libraries attempting to circumvent certain conservative politicians from preventing people in deeply conservative areas from actually reading what they consider 'subversive' books, thereby possibly changing their opinions. Things are getting really messed up in the US right now.

So, any bets on how long until state legislatures in 'particular' states start trying to pass bills to lock out NYC libraries?
