This is exactly why I've been going with smaller and underground streaming sites. Netflix is dreck anymore, it just churns on itself. Long Live the underground!

This is really beautiful and sad. Very sorry to hear. But I think I get it. I'm from a place where a lot of people 'dropped out' because of opioid addictions and/or severe alcoholism, or even just completely fed up with society. It used to be so easy to just write these people off and just assume they 'deserved it' or something ... but until you see how truly precarious modern life can be, and go through struggles yourself, it is really hard to understand. I think films that broach these nasty topics actually go a very long way to help people find empathy. I know its help me.

I found it on a streaming site called Write Brain Studios. I vaguely remember hearing about this film a few years back, and it randomly popped up in my feed the other day. Def worth a watch. All sorts of other wild stuff on there too it seems.
