Might be worth checking out the roof of the Grand Daddy Hotel on Long Street in the CBD. I had some private drinks there and the view was amazing. Very good vibe.
Wine farms aren’t terribly central, but they are excellent venues. Durbanville is probably the closest area to central CT to check out.
Camps Bay would be another option. Maybe something like Place on the Bay would be big enough?
Good friend of mine works in this space if you need a contact.

Have you got a link for Etsy or a name to search for please? I love the Zoryana mini!

Was going to suggest RGE. A constant source of inspiration for emails.

Loving your work! And I have all of those colours. I will give it a try this weekend.
If you have any photos of the back I’d love to see them.

I love the goldfish one. What paints did you use?

One of them is the Gyrafalcon pattern from Forgeworld (showing as out of stock at the moment. No idea on the other two - I do like the one with the huge aquila on top!

Nope - no need to. They pop in and out and hold girl easily. Makes it easy to swap out the front weapons.

I’m sure I saw in another thread someone recommend the XL version of these from Green Stuff World.
I haven’t tried them but my plan is to use them for the bikes.

I really enjoyed putting my first one together at the weekend. It did take time, but I couldn’t believe the level of detail.
I’m also glad I read a couple of guides beforehand so that I didn’t glue the front missiles / guns. Also managed to keep the Custodes separate from the bike to make painting easier.

I’d rather have more custom gear and bikes than newer graphics TBH. I want to ride my bike in the game world, not some poor approximation. And I’d like to wear my favourite kit too!

Given you’re going to spend a lot of time looking at the screen, I’d also say choose a bike you like.
I personally love riding my SL7 and my Madone. Wish I could change the colour of the Madone but hey ho.
Ride what brings you joy. Sure other bikes may save you a couple of seconds, but unless you’re racing it doesn’t really matter.

Seconding the CGR. Excellent bikes. Took mine all over the single track around Leith Hill and it did a great job. Big fan.

Trajann and some dreadnoughts.
The other thing to think about is getting a couple of Knights. You can have a detachment of them for free, and they’re great for blasting stuff off the table as your troops march up.

Good job, OP. Excellent work for speed painting.
What red did you use for his cloak? You’ve got it looking spot on.

100%. It’s like the modern day version of the mafia.
I remember having Trustpilot come in to see the business I was working at. The costs to have reviews moderated were pretty insane, and the pitch was basically “if you don’t pay us, we’ll let the negative reviews stack up”.
We went with Bazaar Voice in the end to build up reviews on our site. If we didn’t like something it could be edited or the whole review deleted for some spurious reason.

I always enjoy it - some decent kit to work towards. But I wish they’d bring back bonus XP for some of their events again. It’s taking ages to level up! 😭

Great work OP. Mind me asking where the trees are from? They’re exactly the size I’m after for MESBG and 40k.

After commenting this morning I ended up revisiting the original Africanism mix CD that Bob Sinclair put together. Quite a few latin-y tracks on there. Lego - Trompeta Alegre being an example.
On a separate note, I forgot how much I loved Liquid People’s “Love is the Answer” and “The Dragon”. Great tunes.

Banda Sonara - Guitarra G / Pressure Cooker
Latin Project - Lei Lo Lai (MAW remix is great)
DJ Gregory - Block Party. Yes, I know it’s on Africanism but I’d say it has latin vibes.
Follow some rabbit holes from these.

Thanks, OP. Hadn’t seen this before - very much my jam.
